Popsicle Illusion approached me be a part of this super team of animators for Flux Pavilion's latest single. The brief was simple but strong enough to combine everyone's talent into one massive mashup with only one human character at the center. The result was a fantastic color packed journey into the mind of five different artists, and it all happened to work flawlessly.

When Polykrome approached me to create a music video for his new release, he was already inspired by one of my previous works and wanted to expand on it, he wanted to elevate it and bring in as many dogs as possible. I was fortunate enough to have his trust and was left to my own creative devices, the result is a slow-mo, neon-packed galore that highlights the subtle movements that are usually missed by us humans, who percieve life in real time and fail to see the beauty that can be found in the energetic movements these animals create.

DiscordRecord is a personal project that grew out of the passion I developed for album cover and artworks found in vinyl records. Working for a major label is no easy task, but the internet has allowed for the development of a new wave of musicians online, with very unique sounds that are slowly working their way into the mainstream. Sites like soundcloud and bandcamp, are giving the power back to the artists, the real challenge then is finding the interesting artists and sounds. These are some of the artworks I have developed for some of those musicians.

These animations are an ongoing personal project that I developed as a way to learn software, all the pieces can be found on my blog. The only goal I set myself was to create a looping animation, something that the audience could not tell where it started and where it ended. The more I exploration I did, the more it became a search to create mesmerizing animations that would keep the eyes of the audience attached to the pieces themselves. Some explore optical illusions, but for the most part is simply a creative outlet that allows me to better understand complicated software.

Is a visual representation of what a visual radio would look like. In an era where sound and image are so attached, it seems logical that our radios carry a display and can offer visualizations that represents the music accurately. Most the music in this project shows the personal progression and exploration I have found in electronic music, from abstract sounds to more melodic contemporary genres. While the transitions aim to replicate the scanning process of finding a radio station that’s visualized by television noise. Every scene is linked to the audio one way or another, but it is always the audio driving the motion.

As a day dreamer, I spend most of my days thinking of shapes and forms that pop into my head and move around endlessly. This motion piece represents the styles, influences and sounds that have shaped my student years, abstract yet relatable. All of it while using 3D software to create two-dimensional pieces, that can easily move between both planes and engage the audience.
